The UCLA School of Education and Information Studies will host two leadership academies for k-12 and university educational leaders in 2023.

The University Women’s Leadership Academy is designed to assist mid-career professionals to expand their leadership capacities and value to their universities. The program re-imagines the roles and impact of women in their current and future university positions. Instruction is led by expert practitioners in human resources, student services, negotiation, mentoring, problem solving, and collaborating for change. The academy assists women to support each other.

“I gained so much new knowledge about varying aspects of leadership and the value of networking. The timing and pacing of the academy were just right, said one participant in last year’s program “The Academy definitely met my expectations and I learned equally as much from my wonderful peers.”

The Women’s University Leadership program begins Saturday, January 28. The program consists of five Saturday morning sessions and seven sessions on Thursday evenings. All sessions are online. More information is available at www.bit.ly/3BpyQLQ.
