How to Request a Room
To book a room you will need to log in with your existing UCLA Ed&IS account. People outside of UCLA Ed&IS may create an account that will allow use of the room reservation system only. It will not grant access to other UCLA Ed&IS resources. Please check out our brief tutorial on making reservations to help you get started.
Room Reservations Room CalendarPlease take note of the following:
- The building hours for both Moore Hall and the SEIS building are 7am -8pm, Mondays-Fridays. No external groups outside of the School of Education and Information Studies will be able to book rooms in either building past 8pm or have events that carry past 8pm.
- Rooms are often booked with back-to-back meetings. Please account for any set-up and clean-up time in your reservation request.
- Reading Room (3340): The Reading Room is kept locked at all times. Please see Building Operations (Moore 3329, X62459) to obtain a key. If the furniture is rearranged to suit your event, it MUST be placed back to the original layout as pictured and posted to the left of the double doors as you exit. If you find the furniture is not in its original layout prior to your event, please notify Building Operations (X62459).
- Weekends/Holidays: If you are reserving any Moore Hall room on a weekend or a holiday, you will need to submit an FSR (Facilities Service Request) at least three days prior to your reservation in order to have the building opened/locked down, rooms cleaned and trash cans emptied. In addition, the restrooms nearest the rooms reserved should be cleaned and restocked.
Please contact Building Operations (X62459) for questions or assistance in completing FSRs and obtaining a room key.
Courtesy Check: As a courtesy to others who may be using a room immediately after your event, please make sure the room is reset to its proper configuration and no trash is left behind on the tables and floor. A quick check of the room after your event would be very much appreciated.
