Educational Leadership Program (Ed.D)

Paolo Cantos is a marketing and communications professional with over eight years of higher education experience at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Southern California (USC). He specializes in mass communication strategies for internal and external audiences, leveraging the latest administrative technology to inform and educate stakeholders about the resources, services, and programs. He currently serves as the Website Content Administrator for the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies, overseeing the school’s digital presence across various platforms, including its website and social media. He previously oversaw communications for USC’s Career Center and co-led various special projects, including the implementation of USC’s campus-wide career platform, Handshake, a centralized project management tool for USC Student Life, and the formalization of the Career Center’s internship program to offer paid on-campus opportunities within the center.

Paolo’s research focuses on the impact of secondary educational systems on the pursuit of higher education, specifically the use of career and technical education, as well as the diversity of higher education organizational teams and their impact on the services they provide.
