Xinyi Zoe Mao
Ph.D. in Education
Zoe studies how teachers’ knowledge and practices influence children’s cognitive and self-regulation development through an interdisciplinary, multi-method lens. Her research spans early childhood through the elementary years, working with both neurodiverse and typically developing students. By collaborating with educators across diverse cultural contexts, her work bridges child development and teacher development to advance research, practice, and educational innovation.
