How to Request a Key
Key requests should be submitted by unit heads or faculty on behalf of the recipient for spaces controlled by that unit or faculty.
Key Request FormAn email will be sent out when the requested key is available.
Please note that the Key Request Form is for one individual key assignment. Multiple keys cannot be requested on one form.
Mail and Couriers
The central Mailroom for Ed&IS is located in Moore 2028. Please reach out to the Building Operations Unit if you need the code to the door.
USPS: MDDS delivers mail to Ed&IS mail stops daily.
Outgoing mail: Please place outgoing mail in the respective bin.
- Mail is collected daily.
- You may use a recharge code in lieu of stamps
FedEx and UPS: Couriers will deliver parcels as they arrive. There is no dedicated stop in any Ed&IS building. However, couriers will drop off packages in the Mailroom located in Moore 2028 and will look for corresponding parcels that need to ship out.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in Moore 3329, Building Operations Office. Please take any found items to the Building Operations Office.
Maintenance Repairs
The Building Operations Office is the primary liaison with Facilities Management in maintaining the upkeep of Ed&IS buildings. If there is a building issue, you do not need to wait for us to submit a service request for maintenance repairs! This can include building damage, vandalism, utility outages, or anything relating to cleanliness.
For issues like a clogged toilet, leaks, after hours lockouts, etc. that require immediate attention, please call the Service Request hotline at (310) 825-9236. You will be asked for the facilities-related issue, location, and UID.
For incidents that do not require immediate assistance, such as sweeping/mopping, replacing light bulbs, faulty ceiling tiles, create a Service Request.
