This lecture examines one of the most urgent questions of our time: who controls what schools teach, and to what ends? Professor Malet will explore how global educational agendas are increasingly shaped by geopolitical rivalry, international policy frameworks, and digital platforms, and what this means for democratic schooling and the future of the common school.
Régis Malet is Professor of Education at the University of Bordeaux and Honorary Senior Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France. He is a leading scholar in comparative education and international educational policy and serves as adviser to the European Commission, the European Parliament, and UNESCO.
We hope you will join us for this important conversation.
